It’s an exciting time to be working in Lambeth Children’s Centres, delivering services and support to children aged 0-4 and their families across our Better Start areas.
Lambeth Children’s Centres are managed by five lead schools, supported by the local authority. Partnership working with health services, early help and social care, and a wide range of voluntary sector organisations is well established, and ensures that there is a strong offer for Lambeth families. Staff work in area based teams, and across a number of different children’s centres and other sites within the area.
We currently have a vacancy in the Brixton Stockwell Better Start team, and are seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic person who is passionate about the role of children’s centres in improving the lives of young children and tackling inequality and disadvantage. Stockwell Children’s Centre, Liz Atkinson Children’s Centre and Jessop Children’s Centre are the three centres within the Brixton Stockwell area, we deliver a wide range of activities and support services for local families, Stockwell Primary School and the Bonneville, Jessop, Stockwell federation is the lead within this area.
