Salary: NJC Scale 3 – points 5 to 6 (£23838 to £24270 per annum) – pro rata for both part-time hours and part-year working
Position type: 20 hours per week (Mon-Fri 8am to noon) – 39 weeks per year (during school terms)

Kings Avenue is a Good school looking to recruit an enthusiastic, organised and flexible person to co-ordinate the smooth running of our busy Reception area and to provide administrative support within the front office. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential.

The Administrative Assistant will be the first point of call for visitors to the school, parents, staff and children. As the ‘face’ of the school you should be welcoming, personable, helpful and able to represent the school in a professional and friendly manner. In addition, it is essential that the person for this role is organised, able to multitask, work flexibly and have a ‘can-do’ approach to work, as no two days are the same.

The successful person will be responsible for ensuring that all administration and clerical tasks are produced to a high standard and operating an efficient reception service.
