Job Description:

Are you a highly motivated and suitably experienced School Office Manager, who wants to play a pivotal role in ensuring the administrative functions of Sudbourne Primary School run efficiently and effectively?

Sudbourne Primary School, a heavily over-subscribed school in the heart of Brixton, requires a skilled and experienced Office Manager to take responsibility for supervising our busy school office at the heart of our thriving school.  You will play a vital role in the planning, development and monitoring of the administrative and support services within the school. Energy, enthusiasm and a clear vision for the improvement of administrative functions are essential.

The successful candidate will be joining a forward thinking, talented and highly motivated staff team, supported by a Leadership Team and Governing Board who are committed to fostering a culture of team work, collaboration and professional growth.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience working in an educational office environment, ideally in a supervisory role
  • Have experience of using school administrative and financial systems such as SIMS/Arbor
  • Have excellent customer focus with strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Be highly motivated, hardworking and committed to ensuring the highest of standards
  • Be highly organised and have high expectations of themselves and those around them
  • Be flexible in meeting the operational needs of a busy school office and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Be hard working, enthusiastic, have the ability to multi task and work to high levels of professionalism
  • Be fully competent in the use of IT packages, with experience of using Microsoft Office
  • Have the ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
