We are an outstanding school right on the edge of Tooting Common; situated between Streatham and Balham, the tube and main line train stations at Balham and Streatham Hill are about a 10-15 minute walk away.
We use our local area extensively, especially the Common which is our closest green space.
We like to think that we offer something a little different at Telferscot – with an emphasis on a creative curriculum; we have great children, really involved and interested parents and governors, and a committed staff team.
We also have a forest school that we are developing, and run an extensive extended school and family learning programme.
We would like to appoint an enthusiastic, professional and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our successful and creative school.
The successful applicant will hold a teaching assistant qualification, and ideally will have experience of working with pupils with autism.
If you are shortlisted for interview, this will involve an observed session with a group of pupils.
We look forward to receiving your application.
