We are looking for an excellent 2ic Teacher of Maths (Secondary) with:
- Assist the Head of Maths in the development and implementation of the school’s maths curriculum.
- Work in collaboration with the Head of Maths to ensure that all teaching and learning strategies are effective and engaging for students at all levels.
- Lead and manage a specific area of responsibility within the Maths Department, such as a key stage, assessment, intervention, and/or enrichment.
- Support the Head of Maths in the development of assessment procedures that accurately measure student progress and attainment in your area of responsibility.
- Provide guidance and support to maths teachers to improve their teaching practice in your area of responsibility.
- Work with the Head of Maths to supervise and develop the department’s resources,
including textbooks, teaching aids, and IT resources in your area of responsibility. - Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff members, and act as a role model for professional conduct at all times.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to in the Maths Department, and that all equipment is maintained and used safely.
- Collaborate with other members of the Maths Department to ensure that all students
