Job Description:

Are you an inspirational specialist music teacher, looking to join a highly committed and enthusiastic staff team to oversee music provision across our Federation of two schools in London?

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and highly motivated music specialist to work across our federation of schools at Clapham Manor Primary and Sudbourne Primary School, located approximately one mile apart.  The successful candidate will have a passion for music and be able to inspire, motivate and challenge pupils to achieve the highest levels of performance, they will also oversee a team of skilled peripatetic music tutors. You will join a talented and hardworking staff team, supported by a leadership team and Governors who are committed to fostering a culture of team work and collaboration.  If you are a specialist teacher with a passion for the arts and performance and instilling this in our children, this could be the opportunity for you!

The successful candidate will:

●        Be a highly motivated, committed and enthusiastic classroom practitioner

●        Have a passion for music and an ability and commitment to engage, motivate and inspire all children to learn, achieve and make good progress

●        Have a real belief in inclusivity and the fact that all children can be supported to be successful

●        Have an excellent knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum for music and an ability to plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons

●        Have commitment to high standards of attainment and achievement

●        Have flexibility, resilience, adaptability and commitment to working as part of a team

●        Be a great communicator with good interpersonal skills who can also actively engage with parents

●        Be passionate about education in a school deeply rooted in the local community
