Job Description:

Woodmansterne School & Sixth Form is set within a diverse and vibrant community. As a school we benefit from a rich variety of cultures and traditions which form the bedrock of our inclusive ethos. We are looking to employ an exceptional PE practitioner who shares our values and determination to deliver an excellent, inclusive education to our young people, from Nursery to Year 13.

We are looking for an excellent PE practitioner and leader with:

  • a proven track record in raising pupil attainment as KS4 and KS5
  • high aspirations and expectations of what can be achieved
  • an understanding of how children learn and the complexities of this process
  • the skills to work successfully as a team member establishing effective working relationships and flexible working practices
  • experience of working in unity and collaboration with colleagues, parents, pupils and the school community
  • strong interpersonal skills and the drive and determination to inspire a team
  • the ability to lead on educational progress, achievement and enrichment experience (including trips, rewards and clubs)
  • a measured, positive and inclusive approach to education.
