Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and ambitious Teaching Assistant/LSA who would like to be part of a dynamic and diverse staff team.

We are seeking:

  • An experienced Teaching Assistant /Learning Support Assistant with a strong background in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Autism
    Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • A dedicated professional to provide consistent, full-time support and guidance to the child throughout their time at Archbishop Sumner.
  • Someone who will foster the academic, emotional, and social development of the child, ensuring alignment with the school’s high standards and values.
  • A proactive individual with the ability to teach a tailored curriculum, work independently, and take initiative.
  • A person with an unwavering belief in the potential and abilities of children in Lambeth.
  • A team player who brings an optimistic and positive attitude to their work.
  • The necessary qualifications and/or experience to enhance the role, including strong literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
  • Lead activities with individuals or small groups of students to facilitate their physical, emotional and educational development within a safe environment.
