Job Description:

We are a one-form entry school with a strong ethos, embracing the values of Islam and promoting diversity and inclusion amongst our staff and pupils .

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, skilled and hardworking Premises Officer who will be the sole member of staff responsible for our newly refurbished premises, working under the direction of the SLT and Office Manager/School Business Manager .

The successful candidate will have:

  • Practical experience and skills in crafts such as carpentry, plumbing, general and ground maintenance, electrical/building maintenance and modern heating systems
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and requirements and experience of maintaining accurate and up-to-date administration, reports and records as required
  • A commitment to working in a school and becoming part of our community
  • An ability to work as part of a team and have good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organisational skills and be able to work with a high level of autonomy, using own initiative and is flexible.
