Job Description:

We are looking for an excellent EYE (Primary) with:

  • Evidence of completion of Teaching Assistant programme of study e.g. NVQ3
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development; attendance on courses, INSET, action research, personal study etc
  • Evidence of education to at least GCSE grade C standard or equivalent in English and maths
  • Computer literacy – ability to carry out a variety of general ICT tasks e.g. upload photographs
  • The ability to work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these
  • The ability to display commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people, and has an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with, and the protection of, children and young people
  • Basic knowledge of First Aid
