Job Description:

Our thriving and inclusive school is well located between Brixton and Clapham. The current school roll is 158, including the nursery.

Ofsted (April 2022) graded the school as good.

Our School serves children speaking around 40 different languages as well as a proportion of children with special educational needs – our aim is to ensure that each of these children feels included in the School and that the School builds its success on this diversity. As such, your commitment to inclusion will be essential to the success of the school.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, organised and flexible person to co-ordinate the smooth running of our busy reception area and to provide administrative support within the front office. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential.

The Administrative Assistant will be the first point of call for visitors to the school, parents, staff and children.

As the ‘face’ of the school you should be welcoming, personable, helpful and able to represent the school in a professional and friendly manner. In addition, it is essential that the person for this role is organised, able to multitask, work flexibly and have a ‘can-do’ approach to work, as no two days are the same.

The successful person will be responsible for ensuring that all administration and clerical tasks are produced to a high standard and operating an efficient reception service.
