Job Description:

We are looking for a Leader of RE who is passionate about their subject, someone who will excite and engage pupils in their learning and lay strong foundations for success in the next stage of their journey. Our pupils are happy, confident young people, it’s our responsibility to see they excel.

As a growing school, we are looking to extend our team further and employ exceptional staff who share our values and determination to ensure that Woodmansterne pupils receive a first-class education.

We are looking for an excellent RE Lead with:

  • Proven successful teaching through the achievement of excellent pupil progress;
  • Able to contribute to the professional development of staff to secure high-quality teaching, effective use of resources and improved standards of learning and achievement for all pupils across the school;
  • Experience of the use of high-quality teaching to ensure the effective inclusion of all pupils in a mixed ability setting ;
  • Able to follow direction and work in collaboration with Executive Headteacher and Heads of Schools;
  • Experience of successful leadership skills or evidence of developing leadership skills at a school within a multicultural community.
  • Able and willing to teach and support in other areas of the curriculum.
  • Desire to enhance and develop skills and knowledge through CPD.
