Salary: NJC Scale 3 - points 5 to 6 (£28545 to £28977 per annum) - pro rata for both part-time hours and part-year working
Hours: 32.5 hours per week
Year Round?: No - 39 weeks per year (during school terms)

Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and ambitious Teaching Assistant who would like to be part of a dynamic and diverse staff team.

We are seeking:

  • To complement the professional work of teachers by taking responsibility for agreed learning activities under an agreed system of supervision.
  • This may involve planning, preparing and delivering learning activities for individuals/groups or short term for whole classes.
  • Monitoring pupils and assessing, recording and reporting on pupil’s achievement, progress and development.
  • To support access to learning for pupils and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning.
