Primary

We take pride in creating an environment where every opportunity is offered to inspire children to learn.

Our school vision is very clear:

We believe in energising children to become lifelong learners as partners in a thriving learning community where each child aspires to achieve their dreams.

We are dedicated to providing an emotionally enabling and creative environment. This is underpinned by strong trusting relationships between staff, pupils, parents, carers, governors and local partners. We honour the uniqueness of every child’

We believe in stimulating children to be the best they can be and develop a love of learning in its widest sense. To achieve this we provide exceptionally varied opportunities including an amazing outdoor environment, a creative curriculum and a strong partnership with the Southbank Centre.

In addition to our high expectations for English and maths, children enjoy playing in our orchestra, inventing in our art studio and competing nationally in PE. Strong relationships with our families lie at the heart of everything we do and we have a thriving Parent Teacher Association (Friends of Heathbrook Primary) that supports our vision and values.

Ours is a caring school where the children are warmly received and encouraged throughout their time with us to ‘aim high’, fulfil their potential and engage with all the opportunities the school has to offer. We firmly believe that for this to be best achieved we must establish a genuine partnership between home and school.

In this respect we work closely with parents/carers, partners and the wider community to ensure the success of our children. We believe that your children deserve the best possible chances in life and that they learn best when there are strong links between home and school. In comparison with other schools nationally, respondents to our online parent questionnaire gave the school an ‘excellent overall performance score’. Parents unanimously rated the school’s overall performance as ‘very good’ (69%) or ‘good’ (31%).

We are proud of our school and the achievements of our students.
