Job Description:

We pride ourselves on our family ethos and creative curriculum which gives every child an opportunity to reach their full potential and nurture their individual talents. We offer a very broad and balanced curriculum so that children not only leave with high standards in Reading, Writing and Maths, but also experience outstanding arts provision. Our mission is for all children to ‘be the best they can be’ and to leave primary school in Year 6 as well-rounded children with a love of learning, ready for the next stage of their lives, and saying, “I know who I am.”

We are looking to appoint an SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. The post will be working with a small group of SEN children in our new SEN space, under the direction of our SENDCo.

We seek to appoint:

  • an enthusiastic and motivated individual with experience of working with children with a range of Special Educational Needs in an educational setting
  • someone with high expectations for all pupils, and who will help to provide high quality and inspiring learning experiences to individuals and groups of children
  • someone with GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English, and who will contribute to the existing strong team of staff.

For successful candidates, we offer:

  • willing, enthusiastic children with positive attitudes to learning and exemplary behaviour
  • an inclusive and diverse learning environment
  • a well-established and supportive team of staff in an over-subscribed two-form entry school
  • excellent wellbeing support and access to training and CPD
