Job Description:

Richard Atkins Primary School is seeking a dedicated and forward-thinking School Business Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team and play a key role in the strategic development and continued success of our school.

Located in the heart of Lambeth, Richard Atkins is a diverse and welcoming community with high expectations for our pupils and staff. Our vision is to empower every child to achieve excellence and embrace a future full of possibilities. We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to excellence, integrity and continuous improvement.

As School Business Manager, you will work closely with the Headteacher and Governing Body to ensure the effective and strategic management of the school’s resources. Your responsibilities will include financial planning and budget management, human resources, premises and facilities, health and safety, administration, ICT and information management. You will also play an important role in identifying opportunities for income generation, improving systems and ensuring value for money.

The successful candidate will bring strong organisational, financial and leadership skills, excellent communication abilities and the confidence to manage competing priorities in a busy school environment. You will be able to build positive relationships with staff, governors, parents and external partners, while ensuring that the school’s resources are used effectively to support pupils’ learning and achievement.

What makes Richard Atkins special?

You will join a committed team that values collaboration, professional integrity and the contribution every member of staff makes to our children’s success. If you are passionate about educational leadership, strategic resource management and making a meaningful difference to a school community, we would love to hear from you.
