Federation Spanish Tutor Required

The Executive Leadership of the school are looking for a Spanish Tutor to join our learning community.

Having embedded a collaborative way of working across our federation, we are seeking to harness the talents of driven, aspirational and dedicated professionals willing to develop and enhance their existing expertise to create memorable learning experiences for children.

Purpose of Job

The post is pitched at Higher Level Teaching Assistant level, with comprehensive European Spanish fluency. To support the delivery of the modern foreign language’s curriculum from Nursery to Year 6 in our Federation.  This role requires knowledge in how children learn from EYFS – KS2 and able to implement effective behaviour management strategies appropriate to children aged 4 – 11 years old.

The post will include a teaching and learning commitment across the schools, supporting the delivery of our bespoke Spanish curriculum and assessment.

About you

We are looking for an individual with higher level teaching assistant standard or equivalent qualifications or experience at or beyond. Varied applicants welcome.  The successful applicant would be expected to work with, and support, the Modern Foreign Languages Subject Leader to deliver the Spanish curriculum across the schools by having responsibility for teaching and learning.

If you have excellent communication skills, a good knowledge of educational software and hardware, you are an enthusiastic team player, and can manage children from all year groups positively, then we would love to hear from you.
