Job Description:

Hill Mead is a small community primary school in Brixton. Our pupils and families reflect the cultural and linguistic diversity of Lambeth. A high proportion of pupils are disadvantaged, speak English as an additional language or have special educational needs and disabilities. Leaders and staff know the children and families well, and the school works closely with local services and community partners.

The school is completing its transition to one form of entry. Its Victorian building, eight classes and strong local links give Hill Mead a distinctive community feel. Our values – Ambitious, Brave and Caring – describe who we are. Our 5Cs – Community, Collaboration, Challenge, Creativity and Connection – are the drivers that show how we live those values and how we learn.
