We are looking for an excellent music practitioner with:
- a proven track record in raising pupil attainment at GCSE (OCR experience preferable but not essential);
- experience of or a willingness to manage peripatetic staff;
- an understanding of how children learn and the complexities of this process;
- the skills to work successfully as part of a team;
- experience of working effectively and in collaboration with colleagues, parents, pupils and the school community;
- strong interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude;
- knowledge of relevant developments and innovations in the use of music to enhance teaching and learning;
- the ability to be kind, positive and committed to the school’s inclusive ethos;
- the ability to be flexible, calm, work under pressure and manage change effectively.
