Woodmansterne School & Sixth Form is set within a diverse and vibrant community. As a school we benefit from a rich variety of cultures and traditions which form the bedrock of our inclusive ethos. We are a unique all-through school (Nursery to Year 13), looking to appoint an exceptional EYE who shares our values and determination to deliver an excellent, inclusive education to our young people.
We are looking for an excellent EYE (Primary) with:
· Completion of Teaching Assistant programme of study e.g. NVQ3;
· Evidence of ongoing professional development; attendance on courses, INSET, action research, personal study etc;
· Educated to at least GCSE grade C standard or equivalent in English and maths;
· Computer literacy: ability to carry out a variety of general ICT tasks e.g. upload photographs;
· Work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and your own position within these;
· Displays commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people, and has an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with, and the protection of, children and young people.
· Basic knowledge of First Aid.
