Job Description:

We want someone with the knowledge  and skills to work with staff to lead and drive academic standards, to inspire our pupils to become the best possible version of themselves and to achieve outcomes that lay strong foundations for their future success. Our pupils are happy, confident young people; we are an experienced, caring and inclusive team, it’s our responsibility to see they excel.

We are looking to appoint an exceptional Assistant Headteacher with:

  • Recent and proven success at teaching across all Key Stages
  • Evidence of developing leadership skills at a school within a multicultural community
  • Evidence of relevant and recent continuing professional development which has had impact on self-development and/or the development of others
  • An understanding of, and commitment to, promoting the safeguarding of all pupils and an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance in relation to working with, and protecting, children and young people
  • The ability to work creatively and innovatively in a school leadership role
  • The ability to identify and manage change that leads to all-round improvement in the school
  • The ability to hold people to account and a clear understanding of the relationship between performance management, continuous professional development and sustained school improvement
