Premises Assistant

Reporting to:                     Premises Manager

Salary Scale:                       NJC Scale 3, pts 5-6 – FTE Salary £31,086 to £31,530

(Actual pro rata annual salary £24,869 – £25,224)

Hours:                                  28 per week, on a shift pattern to suit the needs of the school

Contract type:                   Part-time, all year round (additional shifts may be available)

We are looking for a hardworking, diligent, practical individual to join our premises team who will support the school’s Premises Manager and be a key team player in strengthening the premises support provision across the school.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in building facilities/maintenance with the ability to undertake a wide range of DIY skills, cleaning, portering, security and be in receipt of a full UK driving licence.

Bishop Thomas Grant School operates rigorous safeguarding procedures.  All appointments are subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check and an online background check as outlined in KCSIE.  Applicants do not have to be Catholic but should be committed to working within the Catholic ethos of the school.
