Job Description:

Kingswood Primary School is a warm, inclusive and ambitious community school in West Norwood, guided by its core values of Kindness, Resilience, Empathy and Respect. The school is committed to nurturing creative, confident and curious learners through a broad and engaging curriculum, while celebrating diversity, promoting well-being and inspiring excellence.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reflective Class Teacher to join our supportive and forward-thinking team. This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to make a meaningful impact in a school that values collaboration, innovation and professional growth.

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching and learning experiences, create a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence, and work closely with colleagues to provide a broad, balanced and inspiring curriculum. They will also build strong relationships with pupils, families and the wider school community, while contributing to the wider life and ethos of the school.

We are looking for a teacher who is passionate, creative and committed to achieving the best outcomes for all pupils. The ideal candidate will have high expectations, a reflective approach to their practice, a commitment to inclusive education, and a desire to continually develop professionally within a supportive team environment.

We can offer a welcoming and collaborative school community, supportive leadership with a strong focus on staff well-being, a culture of professional trust and teamwork, and a wide range of CPD opportunities, including self-directed development pathways. Staff are encouraged to innovate, take on leadership opportunities and share best practice as part of our commitment to continuous improvement.
