Corpus Christi RC Primary

Trent Road, London SW2 5BL

Primary

Corpus Christi RC Primary exists to serve the Catholic communities of Brixton Hill and its neighbouring parishes. We are here to educate our children to the highest possible standard in a community which has the gospel values, traditions, and beliefs of the Catholic Faith at the centre of its ethos.

Christian values will be upheld in all aspects of the school, with an emphasis on respect, helpfulness, unselfishness, and co-operation.

Our whole school community of children, parents, staff, and governors are justifiably very proud of our school and its successes. These successes are evident both in the academic standards achieved and in the excellent curriculum on offer to the children.

We aim to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment in which each child can thrive and develop his or her own interests and talents, so that they are provided with the best possible start to their education. Our staff are central to making this happen.

As a school we benefit from excellent staff retention whilst still providing opportunities for new teachers to grow in confidence and develop their practice in a nurturing but challenging environment, supported by skilled mentors, phase leaders and a very experienced leadership team. As an inner city, multi-ethnic school we would like to develop our workforce so it is representative of the local community and encourage applications to reflect this.

Corpus Christi RC Primary is a stand-alone Academy
