Triangle Nursery School
Triangle is a small Nursery School that offers places to children aged 2.5 to 4 years old. Set back from Clapham High Street, we are a busy and popular school. Teachers and Key Persons support children in exploring their interests and help them to develop across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum. We believe play is the best way to explore new ideas and proudly share new learning opportunities with each other. We foster a love of books and stories and provide children with every opportunity to succeed, no matter how small the steps of progress may be. We offer a fully inclusive environment for children to explore, including a green and well resourced outdoor garden and a large classroom where lots of different interests can be developed. .
We offer a range of support to ensure every child has access to a rich learning environment. Some of the resources we use are music therapy sessions, the use of a sensory room, weekly natural thinkers outdoor learning opportunities and regular visits to the local area to expand upon children’s learning.
Triangle is one school in a federation of three with Holmewood and Maytree Nursery Schools. Both of these schools have Children’s Centres which are a wonderful resource for parents/carers and their children from pre-birth right through to primary school. These facilities are open to everyone in the local community. We work very closely with parents and carers to ensure that a child develops to their full potential. Coffee mornings and parent workshops are held often to enable learning to continue at home.
As a local authority nursery school we offer free education places for children who are 3 and 4 years old. Parents can pay to extend their child’s hours. Some 2 year olds can also come to Triangle under the Early Learning Offer. We also offer places to families that are not eligible for a funded place, where parents pay for the place. We also offer holiday provision for children aged up to 8 years old. This is based at Maytree Nursery School.
